Ralph Tucker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Cleveland State University and a Master of Divinity Degree with a concentration in Ethics from Vanderbilt University.   In the field of education, Mr. Tucker has served as a Behavior Support Assistant, Intervention Specialist, Guidance Counselor, Dean of Students, and Principal of a Charter High School.

Mr. Tucker also completed one year of coursework in a doctoral program for Intellectual History at Drew University in New Jersey. 

Mr. Tucker is the pastor of a congregation in Cleveland, Ohio and has served as pastor of churches in Tennessee, Florida, and New Jersey.  He served 17 years as the director of the Travelers Aid Program at Newark Liberty International Airport, a non-profit agency with more than 40 volunteers, contracted with the Port Authority of NY and NJ assisting travelers in distress and providing assistance and information services for airline patrons.

Mr. Tucker speaks of the power of knowledge and often refers to his functional knowledge of auto mechanics, plumbing, electrical work, masonry work, cooking, sewing, and gardening mostly learned from his parents.  Mr. Tucker is conversant in the French language and has studied German and Spanish.  Mr. Tucker is passionate about helping others to recognize their unused power and potential.

Disciplined For Success and its “Be The Boss of You” program grew out of Mr. Tucker’s struggle to manage his own life, and out of his work in education and ministry.  From speaking engagements in schools, prisons, juvenile detention centers, and his ongoing work with men and youth, it became clear to him that there is a great need for the development of personal strength and self-management.
